Guru Guide to looking fabulous

Hey Gals! By now we have all started to recognize colours that look good on us, and others that don’t. This post is to help you find more colours that look good on you; colours you didn’t consider yet, or colours you felt would look cool but you never really went for.

Depending on you skin, eye and hair color you can decide your season. This method, called Seasonal Color Analysis, shows you the colours that naturally fit and flatter you, but as always there are exceptions. So if a colour you love wearing and looks good on you isn’t on a chart, then no problem, we are all one of a kind and nothing can put us in a box. This is just a way for you to experience new things other than the usual but backed by research, or a way to dive deeper into your own personal style.
So let’s get started!

Just as there are four seasons there are four seasonal colors that then break down into clear or soft or light or deep.  But first you have to decide your season.

Winter: You have cool undertones to your skin. Your face has color contrast. For example: light skin and dark hair.

Summer: You have cool undertones to your skin. Your face shows little contrast. For example: light skin, blue eyes, blond hair.

Autumn: You have warm undertones to your skin. Your face shows little contrast.
For example: medium skin, brown-ish eyes and hair.

Spring: You have warm undertones to your skin. Your face shows color contrast.
For example: medium skin, green eyes, dark hair.

Here’s a chart to help you decide wether you’re a clear/ soft/ deep/ light season.

After you decide your season and type, you can start surfing the Internet for tailored articles about your suitable palettes. Again these are only an optional guideline and you can do whatever you do.

Now that you have figured out the colours that flatter and accentuate your features, you can start buying makeup and fashion products more precisely that make your colours pop!
Remember; it’s not about buying and trends and buying and throwing, it’s all about what’s better for you. Your style - and it can be infinitely trendy when it suites you well.
