A better Sunscreen

Sunscreen is everybody’s bestfriend in summer. It protects your skin, serves as a bronzer and is a legit reason for flirting, hehe. But your best friend is a bully ! Yeah, your SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is severely damaging corals and affecting marine life. Around 1 billion people are visiting oceans- and dumping around 6,000 to 14,000 tons of sunscreen each year. Take a moment to take that in. Purer Wahnsinn (sheer insanity)!

So start with yourself and make sure to apply natural sunscreen, which is the safest option for your skin and the ocean, or sunscreen without those following ingredients: oxybenzone, butylparaben and octinoxate, because the are bad. Amongst other chemicals those have been proven to bleachen and weaken corals leading to the death of many sea creatures vital for maintaining a just eco system.
